How to lead your students to behave responsibly towards nature and society was the main topic of the meeting of experts in the field of sustainability in education. This international meeting was supported by the Erasmus+ programme, specifically the international project "EduSTa - Academy for Sustainable Future Educators". The programme included:
- Demonstration lessons reflecting European sustainable development goals
- Sharing innovations in environmental and social pedagogy
- Workshop on how to work in CANVA
- Discussion with the Vice-Rector for Sustainability - Prof. Vlková
- A tour of the CZU environmental campus in Suchdol
- Evaluation of individual project activities
The event also included an international webinar on the topic Digital Open Badges Enabling Sustainable Future Educators to Become Change Makers
The stimulating lectures, workshops and discussions with representatives of the European Commission and foreign teachers from the Finnish "Tampere University of Applied Sciences", the Swedish "University of Gothenburg", the Catalan “University of Girona”, the Dutch faculties of education from “AERES Wageningen” and “Hanze Groningen”, took place from 31 March to 3 April 2025 in an inspiring atmosphere not only on the academic premises of the Institute of Education and Communication, Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, the Faculty of Environmental Sciences but thanks to the beautiful weather, also in the nature!
