Study at IEC is focused on the field of Education. Study in teacher training courses provides applicants with the qualification for teachers, mainly at the secondary school and in school facilities. Other fields of study at IEC are guidance and lifelong learning, which forms a substantial part of the activities in Educational Departments of commercial firms, and in non-profit institutions, state and public organizations. Presentation and didactic skills are also important parts of scientific training for postgraduate students and young CZU teachers.
Forms of study
In doctoral (post-graduate study) programmes, IEC includes the study of ‘Didactic and Presentation skills’, which are organized in block workshops and in self-study activities.
Bachelor Degree study programmes at IEC are in the form of daily or combined study. Combined study comes from the daily form of study, but there is assumed to be a higher proportion of self-study.
In long life education programmes there is an applied form of concurrent study (for CZU students), or form of combined study for students who have already completed their study at CZU.
