IVP supports teacher training abroad

The Institute of Education and Counselling announces a selection procedure for a one-week professional internships in the Netherlands. The internships will take place from April 12 to 18, 2026 (including travel) and is intended for students of all years of the study program of Pedagogy of Practical Training.

The program will take place at AERES Wageningen, a higher education institution that trains future teachers of vocational subjects and practical training, and at four horticultural and gastronomic schools in Wageningen and Amsterdam.

Participants will take part in group classroom observations followed by a reflection, they will learn about the fields of education offered and the management of these schools.

A total of 6 UPV students will be selected, accompanied by two academic staff members from IVP.

More information on how to apply for the internship can be found on the IVP students intranet.

In the next academic year, another 12 students will benefit from similar internships in Austria and Slovakia.
