The project EduSTA focuses on re- and upskilling VET teachers. It builds a community of an “Academy of Educators for Sustainable Future”. Close cooperation with training schools actively engage in-service teachers. A diverse palette of educational concepts on teachers’ sustainability competences and open digital badge-driven pathways will support the European dimension and facilitate recognition of prior learning as micro-credentials.
The project consortium is going to implement these activities and outputs:
- Comparative research - mapping the contextual possibilities and restrictions for transformative learning on sustainability,
- Design of competence-based learning modules and their implementation into the partners’ curriculum,
- Establishing open digital badge-driven pathways on teachers’ sustainability competences and badge applications open for all teachers in Europe.
