The Second Year of Practical Experience in Vietnam

For the second year in a row, two students from the Institute of Education and Counselling (IVP) have had the opportunity to complete a professional internship in Joint Training Language Centre in Hanoi.

Czech and English language classes in Hanoi prepare Vietnamese students for follow-up language courses regularly organized by the IVP in the Czech Republic. These courses help international applicants prepare for their studies in bachelor or master’s programmes at the CZU.

The ceremonial opening of the classes in Hanoi was attended by IVP Director Prof. Petr Valášek, along with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Vietnam, Dr. Lukáš Kaucký, and the Head of the Consular Section, Jana Korbelová.

“I greatly appreciate that the ambassador took his time to personally observe the Vietnamese students’ classes. His visit confirms the importance of Czech-Vietnamese cooperation in the field of education and also supports the further development of our joint activities,” said IVP Director Prof. Petr Valášek.

The internship in Vietnam is not only an opportunity for students of the programme Career Counselling and Education to gain practical experience abroad, but it is also a part of their academic requirements. Furthermore, they are integrating this international experience into their bachelor’s thesis.
