The Institute of Education and Communication provided a professional placement for incoming educational counsellors from four Finnish vocational schools from 3 to 6 June 2019. The mobility of these staff was a key activity of the project – "Career Guidance in European Context" (Erasmus + KA102). The professional program of the internship was a really fruitful experience and its aim was to introduce the system of educational and career guidance in the Czech Republic. After theoretical introduction to the training topic, there was a discussion with educational advisors and the headmaster of the Secondary School of Horse Racing and Riding in Velká Chuchle and the staff of the Career Centre of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. An equally important benefit of the internship was sharing of good practice examples during visits at workplaces dealing with career guidance - the European Contact Group, the section of labour and career guidance of the NGO InBáze and the education department of the private company Copy General.
